Too bad BowlCity isn't around. Isn't this his favorite Rush album?

Yep. Maybe one of those Amsterdam hookers will f*** some sense into him. I do hope he doesn't spend all of his money trying to reenact Cold Fire with one of them. If he posts "It was just after midnight when we started on traditional roles", I don't think I'll be able to drink anything ever again.

Can't wait for LR's vote.

So many to choose from so much time...

How much time does it take to click 11 boxes?

You can sleep on it and decide in the morning. :)

Or you can give it a listen to be certain that you haven't had a change of heart since the last time you gave the album a spin. :)

Well I like five songs on this album so it's a little better. The others I could take or leave.

If my math is correct we are in agreement. Not sure they are the same songs but I checked off 6... :)

Everyday Glory sounds like the song that should get played as the credits rolled on a 1990's film...

The guy won the fight, got the girl, and is now driving into the sunset in his vintage 65 Volkswagen.

Don't think I can "sleep" on it unless I take an extra pill or two... :)

They're probably the same five. For the most part they're the ones that get played the most often on tour.

Then it is best to get it over with before you hit the hay.

I'm picturing y'all haters dancing to PoW and HyF.

I'll take Cut, Alien, Double, Stick, Between as a strong step back towards a three piece rockin band. They we so far down the rabbit hole, they were a little lost without their synthies. Give this album some old fashioned screaming, and it's a rocker. Can't say that about all the synthie albums.

Actually the "sound" itself would have worked nicely on the soundtrack for The Breakfast Club. I could be way off but thats what it reminds me of...

Stick It Out

Hate this song. HATE IT I SAY!

Otherwise, pretty decent album, a low standard release from Rush, but it contains two of my very favourite Rush songs: Cold Fire and Everyday Glory.

A fair bit to like, a little to love, and one song that just...shhhh I don't want to wake it up.

Or depending on the device, putting it in and pressing play.

You know what's a fun game to play.

Pop 3 Tylenol PM's and put on Counterparts and see if you can stay awake through the entire album.

The fun part is, Either way -YOU WIN!!

Oh come on...Cut to the Chase? That's the best song on the album. Shame, shame. :tsk:

I see I'll need to lurk around until the end since this may need a tiebreaker.
