And so it begins in earnest.

It's time to get serious.

Sea green is a rather unique way to say goodbye. But he looks amazing with that bass strapped on. Let's hope it stays on the entire set!

Next story will be they are rehearsing Anthem!

The color is actually called seafoam green, not sea green like it says in the article. Fender used automobile colors on their instruments originally, and a lot of them are still used. Sonic blue, daphne blue, burgundy mist, and seafoam green are examples.

It might just be the light, but while the first pic looks like seafoam green, the second looks like Aqua flake. Maybe he's got two new basses? Seems the pics were taken on different days - seeing as Geddy's wearing different t-shirts in each pic!

I think it's the same bass. Same pickguard. He could have changed his shirt for the pic. Seafoam changes color a bit depending on the light. I used to have a bass that color and it would do that.

I am glad to see this. It would be nice to see Fender make a green version of the GL jazz (even if what we have here is Sea Foam and the one with '70s spacing is surf).

I used to have a truck that was that color. Very popular color in the mid 90s...but never since.
