Inkanta
I have a hot-cold relationship with cooking, no pun intended. ATM, I'm enjoying it again. My oldest daughter has been home from college all summer and got very experimental--seemed to spend a lot of time watching the cooking channel. A couple of us are vegetarians, so meals are always a bit like a restaurant, but this summer she mastered the art of cooking tofu. When I've used tofu in recipes (even as pizza topping after soaking in soy sauce), I didn't press it first. It was always ok, but not exactly the star ingredient like it is the way my daughter has been preparing it. One evening, I came home from work and there were a bunch of books in the refrigerator. I'm a librarian, and my first reaction was, "Ah. A few of our books have sustained water damage and my incredibly insightful family is trying to prevent the growth of mould!" But no....she needed something heavy to press the tofu!! I will miss her when she goes back to school in a couple of weeks.

DonnaWanna
Try on some new cooker one year PREGNANT TURKEY STORY One year at Thanksgiving, my mom went to my sister's house for the traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, my mom decided to play a trick. She told my sister that she needed to get something from the store. When my sister left, my mom took the turkey out of the oven, removed the stuffing, stuffed a Cornish hen, and inserted it into the turkey, and re-stuffed the turkey. She then placed the bird(s) back in the oven. When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out of the oven and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her serving spoon hit something, she reached in! and pulled out the little bird. With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed, "Patricia, you've cooked a pregnant bird!" At the reality of this horrifying ne ws, my sister started to cry. It took the family two hours to convince her that turkeys lay eggs! Yep..................SHE'S BLONDE!
