Xanadu
Ah, too bad. When they are in Chicago, I will be in Vegas seeing :rush: . And I can't complain about that too much.
Narps
I haven't seen them since the late 70s. Maybe it's time I see them again.I saw them open for Ted Nugent right after their incredible Debut came out (late 70's also of course). They were awesome and I went to see them not Ted. I may have to just let the memories stay memories in this case. Don't know...

It's been a long time and I realize the band is no longer the same, but I was thinking it might be worth checking them out and seeing them again just in case they don't tour again after this. I'm not expecting them to be as good as they were in their heyday.
RUSHHEAD666
I'm one of the biggest DLR lovers in the world! Sadly I heard s few of those live tracks off the new live album and was totally heartbroken.Dave's voice is shot. Of course I will still hit July 9th show. It's in my backyard. Xanadoood
I may have to check them out this time around. Not sure how much is left in the tank, and with the van halen brothers, it could end as quick as it started.

Not sure how much is left in the tank, and with the van halen brothers, it could end as quick as it started.that's the reason I went a couple years ago. I was a huge Dave fan but was pretty disappointed in the show. I won't be spending my money to see them again sadly

treeduck
What about a new album?? The last album was a collection of old demos and ideas. These guys can't seem to write new material anymore.

RUSHHEAD666
I think Sammy Hagar in Van Halen was a fuckking joke! Complete corporate pop crap wanker rock for teenaged girls in the mid Eighties! Eddie Van Halen cared more about the keyboard than the guitar back then. A disgrace Leave David Lee Roth alone!

Eddie Van Halen cared more about the keyboard than the guitar back then. A disgrace Leave David Lee Roth alone! I used to like Van Hagar's music, until I discovered what a backstabbing asshole Sammy is. Everybody rags on Dave for his ego, Eddie for his attitude, but I think Sammy is the worst out of all of them. In 2004, Eddie was on the brink of dying due to his alcohol abuse. Guess who couldn't have given two shits about his condition? Sammy. He talked so much shit about Eddie in his book and tried to make him look like the worst person in the world. And also, that prick had the nerve to say "Oh, I wish that me and Eddie would be friends again." Last time I checked, Friends don't stab them in the back and leave them high and dry while going through horrible addictions.
RUSHHEAD666
Eagle! Back in the day I hypocritcslly loved 5150.I played it all summer long.I was a senior in high school. I've never grown up but I did grow out of Sam Halen! Sorry! I know some songs are great like All Fired Up. Oh well. I prefer All Fired Up by Fastway!
