I'll just point out that my vote for Signals has nothing to do with the quality of that album, which I love...It's more of an endorsement of the other 5 albums on the list...4 of which are in my top 5

I felt the same when The Deaf Cabal attacked CoS and FBN.  And what they are now doing to 2112 and Hemispheres.  But it is nothing so sinister...just opinions.

AFTK.

Xanadu is the best song...by far. The rest is cool (except Madrigal which is an abomination) but has not aged as well as many other albums.

Signals is so freaking good. But now the old guard is out in force and kicking it to the curb.
Damn all of you!!!!!

Hemispheres
Permanent Waves
Moving Pictures
Signals

4 of their 5 very best albums ever.

Might have to join forces and vote for either AFTK or 2112 together to save Signals from the grumpy old fans.

I've said many times on here and will repeat it again....

I realize this is all in good fun.  Who takes this stuff seriously?  Do you lose sleep over someone disliking 2112?  What anyone else here thinks about the songs/albums that I happen to love means nothing to me.

You can't keep playing the "old" card to cover up that you have no taste.

Well this forum just continues to disappoint me. At least there is the pocket of Pro-Synth people out there still to call companions.

My Vote is on 2112. Way over rated.

Naaaa that would be COS. 2112 is a defining moment in the bands history while COS which is celebrated like Moving Pictures by some was the one that almost was the death of our beloved band.

Every album left in this poll (except AFTK) for me are all incredible albums and Rush at the very top of their game. I am one of those synth fans too. Rush was brilliant in their refusal to just keep making albums like Moving Pictures. If they did....we would not be here. It would have been over 25 years ago.

The old talk is hilarious considering the newest album on this list is still over 30 years old. :D

It's time to leave Rush to the 120 year olds!

I don't care what anyone thinks about Signals.  The Weapon is one of THE best songs Rush ever did.

I voted for the sappy 2112.  :)
