My kegs are getting low, but its hard to find a 6 hour window to brew with 4 kids.

Anyone else brew beer?

I brew small amounts because I like to try new things. I brew 2.5 or 3 gallons. I am not a huge drinker so its lasts 1-2 months.

I have a keezer that will fit 4 kegs so I usually have 4-6 months of beer at most times.

I don't think I should say what happened when this fella some years back home brewed some beer. In a shed. Right next to a railway track.

Did he have coke bottle glasses and a bunch of cats living in his shed with him?

No, but the shed blew up and debris was scattered all over the tracks.

I am interested in starting to home brew. Any suggestions on a starter kit and where to buy ?

Thanks.

Check out the Beer Advocate website. One of the message forums is devoted to Homebrewing, and other parts of the site will steer you to suppliers. It may seem overblown, but I would guess it's like beer drinking- You have to learn to crawl before you start to walk.
