RushCanuck
Canadian Figure Skater Toller Cranston has passed away, age 65.Most of you may never have heard of him, but I was a fan. I followed his career and saw him skate in person. He broke down barriers in the men's skating world and represented Canada for several years in the 70s. He was also an artist.A friend and me were walking the streets of Toronto back in the 70s and he walked past us. (we didn't bother him)RIP. http://www.thestar.c...-at-age-65.html
Narps
I knew I recognized the name but couldn't place it at first between hockey and figure skating. Definitely remember his skating as well. I was very into olympic skating back in the day... RIP indeed
Rhyta
I think I remember him competing in the Olympics in the 70's. He was ahead of his time with his artistic style, sorry to hear he is gone.
Mara
He was the first to do the back flip, was he not?
