Well, tickets go on sale Friday. I'll buy two on the off-chance that I will be able to sweet-talk one of my girlfriends into going with me. Updates soon on where my seats are! I'm getting excited.

Going! I bought two tickets. I have pretty good seats! I'm happy with them. I'm excited about going AND that it's so much closer. The Key Arena is a short drive.

I got to thinking about who to take and I want to take my oldest boy. He loves Rush and I think he would be so excited to see his first show and have it be Rush. That's something he'll never forget! I want to be with him to experience it and he's at an age where he wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen with his "mom" at a concert. :P

So I'm just curious… will folks be able to openly smoke weed at this show?

Never had any problems before

Really? I came within a whisker of being ejected from the Presto tour in Philly, which was right after all indoor smoking had just been banned. I haven't tried anything since. BTW, I was only asking this because of weed being legal in Washington now.

Right. Even with it being legal, it's still illegal in public, but generally folks in Washington are pretty chill; besides, so many people will be lighting up that it'll be tough to single people out. Might be better off getting some edibles though haha

Appreciate the info. To be honest, I quit smoking about 7 years ago, when I began pursuing an accounting degree for a career change. I really don't have any desire to start again, but it could be tough to resist in this setting.

Just booked my room at the Hampton Suites. It's a nice place and a short staggering distance from the venue. On the CA tour I stayed there for $95, this year $400 on sale. I guess the difference between winter and summer rates. On the CA tour someone had a pre concert warm-up for fans at T. S. McHugh's which was fun.

We have to get more TRFers to Seattle.

If I go, I want to meet as many of you as I can! :)

I'm flying out from Delaware for the Vancouver and Seattle shows. I'd love to meet you too Lorraine. Please let me know if you are going so we can try to meet up and say hi before the show. :hi:

Maybe I will see all of you there. We shall see. :)

When will you know if you'll be able to go?

Next week if no tests. If tests, I will have to forget the whole idea.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I'm going to see the Rush tribute band Anthem at the Muckleshoot Casino the afternoon before the show, I've heard from some locals that they are great. Then maybe play a little poker afterwards. Looking forward to an awesome weekend in the great Pacific Northwest! :ebert:

What's the word Lorraine? Is the Seattle show in your future? I'd love to meet you!
