During a recent interview with famed YBG reporter John Cleese, drummer Neil Peart was asked about the difficult task of choosing a title for their upcoming release. Said Peart, "Alex wanted to call it 'Gravy Train on Poutine' but we nixed that uber quick". When asked about song direction and new sonic territory the always affable Peart responded with "it's metal baby!"

Did the affable Peart happen to mention why they chose to name the album "Grinding To A Halt"?

Pye Dubois( Max Webster) has penned all the tracks on this new release. When dubois was asked why, he said " because Neil is tired of writing"

Wow. Now a contributor.

:)

Good thing you are independently wealthy, Canadianice. The YBG isn't known for timely paychecks. In fact, it isn't known that it ever paid anyone for anything at all.

It's the sheer prestige of working for such an illustrious rag paper that is the only payment you will ever receive. ;)

Neil says that the record is a album of covers, and "at least 7.3 times better than Clockwork Angels".

Yes, and 9.1 times longer than Snakes & Arrows. :) We are in for the treat of the century! :)
