PolarizeMe
To be honest, I'm not surprised that a movie like this has finally seen the light of day but even that aside, I still find it incredibly sad that "found footage" movies have sunken TOO low so quickly. invisible airwave
I found this link on Facebook through MTV. That alone tells me the movie will suck.
treeduck
I never liked that kind of film.
Segue Myles
Is this like all genuine footage, or does it just suck ass better than a vacuum cleaner?

Mr. Not
so i actually watched the trailer i wanna see it looks soooooo bad Please just wait until it's available for legal downloading so you don't fund the sequel, thanks ;)
PolarizeMe
Is this like all genuine footage No. "Found Footage" is a sort of sub-genre of film that's presented as if it were discovered film or video recordings, often left behind by missing or dead protagonists. Most notable film of said genre is The Blair Witch Project.

fraroc
This honestly seems like The Grudge meets Paranormal Activity and The Blair Witch Project.

invisible airwave
So, this movie is getting good reviews. Did not see that coming. I'd still rather see this than Paul Plart, though. The latter is poised to make $15-20 million over the weekend with a ZERO on the Rotten Tomatoes meter. Stupid f'ing America. We have our own "Ass Movie" from Idiocracy making $15-20 more than it should. Pity Rifftrax doesn't make fun of "comedies." goose
so i actually watched the trailer i wanna see it looks soooooo badIt seems like the next natural step for the genre...one that is always good for great laughs from me. When I saw Blair Witch on original release I went with someone who thought the whole thing was real. I had to talk her down after the viewing. :laughing guy: "But is said 'based on real events'!" I'll watch it some time...late night at home.

Interesting. So, you mistake apprehension for a review and don't believe you can draw assumptions based on trailers. Interesting.
