I'm not the biggest Zeppelin Fan but.......when they hit it out the park......it was awesome. Their debut.....Zep IV.......Physical Graffiti. All much better then Rush's send up Debut. Just my view.

I suppose it's not really right of me to vote, as I haven't yet listened far outside of the band's "classic" catalogue, but at this point it's gotta be between Hold Your Fire and the debut, and with the debut being bookended by two of Rush's classic early songs and involving some great rocking out for not too long of a time, versus HYF being a tad too long and not always greatly exciting, I went with HYF. I just don't care as much for it, despite some great songs.

I just like loud 70s hard rock. unpopular opinion, but I'd take the debut over what I'd consider "ordinary" 70s rock (stuff like frampton, styx, journey)

every zep record besides presence and ITTOD beats rush's debut, imo

 

I still like it though, bad zeppelin to me is something like kingdom come

Actually now that I think about it HYF and Rush are about equal. Lifeson's solos on the debut are somewhat, how should I say, immature. More specifically, his technique hasn't quite matched his talent yet (too much staccato, disruptive to the flow).

Honestly I guess if I list the album I listen to the least, it would be Vapor Trails. Usually if one of the songs come up in rotation I skip it. Presto would be second and then maybe the debut, but not because I don' t like it...it's just as "Rush" as the others.
