RUSHHEAD666
Listening to the new Simple Minds. Man it's melodic but it's all drum machine shite.I'm bummed. "Don't You Forget About Me?" Well I might forget about the Simple Minds. Did you know that U2 was supposed to do that song but they passed. The lead singer of Simple Minds hated the song but decided to sing it for a paycheck. I like early Simple Minds. I will say that I love the drumming on "Don't You Forget About Me." The drummer nails that fill at about 3:47 during the song on the snare drum. KIller shit. Edited December 16, 2014 by RUSHHEAD666

Lorraine
I loved "Don't You Forget About Me". That time in the eighties was almost as special as the late sixties and seventies. So much good music around. It was hard to keep up with all of it.
Segue Myles
I loved "Don't You Forget About Me". That time in the eighties was almost as special as the late sixties and seventies. So much good music around. It was hard to keep up with all of it. Late sixties to late eighties is for me the greatest period in music history, peaking in particular in the mid to late seventies!
foghorn-leghorn
I recommend CELEBRATE . A live release from the band from this year. Comes with a DVD of the whole concert. Recorded in Glasgow, it concentrates on the old material. Still excellent live performers.
