For those who are Le Studio /Rush nutters like me . I did something relevant for Rush Fans and Music Collectors and musicians . Hopefully you agree.......

Since 1980/1 I have been so intrigued by this Canadian Iconic Recording Studio Meca and by those 3 MP videos Tom Sawyer /Vital Signs/Limelight followed by by the Tama photo shoot of NP with the Red Tama Artstars on Lac Perry in 1983. It was at that time that I was inspired to take up drumming and my inner Rush Fandom would someday be fulfilled by going to Le Studio .

33 years later -Last month November of 2014 My wife Pam and good friend ,(band member ) Brian and I drove the 7 hours from outside of Toronto to Morin Heights Quebec to find the once vibrant retreat. What we found tucked in the mountains is now is the lost Gem of of the music industry - the birthplace of Rush albums Permanent Waves through to Counterparts .It was said by all 3 members of the band LeStudio was the most important and significant places in their careers .We were not only able to walk around the property and take it all in but were able to get inside (legally) and stand in the exact place where Rush and the 400 other artists like The Police/Keith Richards/David Bowie /Bryan Adams/The Bee Gees/ Nazereth/April Wine to name a few created some of the most significant material in the the last 30 years .The dock where Neil had the drums on the lake and canoe is still there . That Tama poster that i had hung on my wall all those years was shot just 50' away. That lake is the water sounds in Natural Science and the front stairs leading to the front doors is where the vigilante rant in Witch Hunt was recorded. It was a fulfilling great experience that day . Great pics on face book NP just recently visited the property about 3 months prior as part of an upcoming documentary by Banger films .

If efforts to pass on a piece of heritage from LeStudio I custom made 3 amazing metal jet black light boxes 12"x24"x3" an almost perfecto replica of the famous Le Studio Neon Sign that glowed 1974-2007 which was the unique cornerstone of the once a state of the art world class recording facility of its time . This sign represents sacred ground for all Rush Fans which now lays abandoned in the heart of the Laurentian Mountains, Quebec subject to be demolition at any time.

Check out my Kijiji ad: (Kijiji Canada/ Rush LeStudio Sign- it should take you there They won't last - I had made 3 brand new high quality signs as of today and one hangs in my personal studio at home and looks nothing short of amazing !! Virtually the exact colour/size /fonts and designed energy efficient /safe .. This is a very cool Christmas gift for any Rush Fan - More importantly the sentimental value it represents .

Thanks

John
