I wouldn't disagree with any of your choices (Pace was #6 for me). Pretty much every one on the list is deserving IMO.

Atwater should be in for the hit on Okoye alone

No Warner eh?

Doesn't Warner have the three highest passing yardage games in Super Bowl History?

Seau

Pace

Harrison

Andersen

Coryell

Andersen was no Vinatieri. Did you know Vin actually ran DOWN Hershel Walker from behind on a kickoff return once? Unbelievable

Andersen has great numbers no doubt. However, only two pure kickers are in HOF—Guy and Stenerud. Andersen doesn't have the legendary kicks to really get the nod IMO. Vinatieri does, and is a lock for induction.

Joe Jacoby will get in eventually and he only won 3 Super Bowls. Pffffft.

His O-line wasn't really celebrated with anything other than a timeless nickname—The Hogs. He needs to wait 10 more years though. Offensive lineman don't do much other than protect the QB (Joe Theisman—ask him about it) and are the biggest part of establishing a running game.

I'd ask Theismann but I'd be pretty dampened bored for the next three hours, while he rambled on, especially if he actually used that prostate medicine he hawked a few years back.

My hope was that my statement would make you think back to Lawrence Taylor almost ending his life...you kniw the o-line was searching for answers that night

About time Charles Haley got in!!! He should have been a first ballot guy. Oh well. The voters cleaned up their mess. Tim Brown is finally in too. I never understood why it took him so long either.

It's taking so long because there's an incredible backlog and only five get in a year. Probably everyone on the list of fifteen nominees have strong cases.

Most do. I agree, but Haley and Brown are no brainers.
