Playing D&D.

What kind of character?

I'm currently playing a bard archaeologist. (We're playing Pathfinder rules.)

"Bard archaeologist" sounds like something Peart made up. :)

Don't know what "pathfinder rules" are but I can imagine.

Pathfinder is a different game than the trademarked Dungeons & Dragons, but it's basically the same game, just with slightly different rules. (Maybe this should go in the "I'm a Dork" thread.)

Well, I've only played D & D a few times. I never liked the overly complicated rules & restrictions. However, I liked the setup and characters so back in Junior high and high school I simplified the game and made my own back stories for my friends to play.

Coincidentally, was JUST talking about games Sunday night over dinner: a friend wants me and & him to design a role-playing game with his wife providing the illustrations. So, my mind is working in that realm this week.

Being eyeballed by a guy on the train for coughing. It's not like I'm not covering my mouth or am particularly loud, frequent, or phlegmy. He's staring at me like I've been clubbing baby seals.

f**k you is my thoughts on that.

Think I'll move closer to him and not cover my mouth.
