I love both. I would say this one is pretty close. But p/g is one of my all time favourite albums so it has to be that one.

p/g by a significant margin.

Only really like Bastille Day and about 3 minutes of the Necromancer from CoS.

CoS is one of the greatest musical achievements of all time, but I've gotta give it go P/G. The Body Electric is too good :smoke:

Grave Under Pressure by a landslide. Caress of Steel, sans Bastille Day, should burn in hell.

Reverse what you say you and you're close to right.

Nothing in the synth era is even close to Rush-MP.

Caress of Steel is in my top five so it gets my vote. Grace Under Pressure is great too, but not as good as Caress of Steel.

COS contains the two greatest songs ever recorded, Necromancer and Lamneth. I think COS is their most passionate album and thus my favorite.

GUP would be about 10 on my album list.

I like how both of these albums have sort of similar titles - "soft" concepts like caress and grace etc. Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures are also similar titles in that they can be interpreted in multiple ways.

GUP is the first album where the synths got to be a little too much, but it's still solid enough. CoS is, well, not very good.

You are correct. It's not good, it f'ing rocks.

Roll the Bones and Snakes and Arrows are both related to games...

And they're thematically linked too. Faith, chance, beliefs, etc

So that's Distant Early Warning, Red Sector A, Between The Wheels, Enemy Within, etc. vs. Bastille Day and, um, uhhh

This isn't a battle, it's a :bitchslap:

P/G >>> CoS

DEW 7

Afterimage 5

Red Sector A 8

Enemy Within 6

Body Electric 5

Kid Gloves 4

Red Lenses 2

Between The Wheels 8

Bastille Day 7

Bald 5

Lakeside Park 9

Necromancer 11

Lamneth 11

So, an average of 5.6 vs 8.6. You are right, no contest.
