LocalsBandGuy
The 2015 tour can be the 40th anniversary tour.........as long as they don't play anything from the 1st album. It'll be the 40th year since Neil's first albums came out. But the big question for me is, what will the stage theme be? Steampunk has had it's time. I say the guys go full on Retro light show mode. Lava lamps through projectors, Atari 800XL and Commodore 64 graphics, 70s Hanna Barbera style cartoons, and copies of the show available at merch booth 3 hrs afterwards on cassette or high quality vhs tape. Bigbobby10
I doubt they play anything from fly by night or caress of steel. they might play something from their first album, if anything working man
bathory
they'll probably do overture/temples, ctth, maybe the trees, maybe la villa, after all it's supposed to be a "fan favorites" tour or whatever maybe working man definitely spirit, maybe freewill, probably nothing else on that one, then the usual from moving pictures, subdivisions, probably more synth and 90s shit who knows man
LedRush
I wouldn't be surprised if we get another instrumental medley or two of older songs.
WorkingAllTheTime
I still contend it should be called the 41th Anniversary tour. Not 40th, not 41st - but 41th (pronounced fourty firth). Why? Because if there is any band quirky enough to pull joke that off, it is Rush.

losingit2k
I doubt It, only if it starts in 2014: Other wise it should be R41 or The Time Machine Tour Too! :codger:
nappy2112
I figure it will probably last 2 years and they'll have to call it R40something Tour.
EagleMoon
Next year would be the 40th anniversary of Neil being with the group. So I think it would still be appropriate.
apetersvt
Don't care what you call it Spring Tour '15 sounds good to me.
EmotionDetector
How about the... "no tour in 2015 because we're using the year to write and record a new studio album in time for an early 2016 release and subsequent tour" tour??
savagegrace26
it's supposed to be a "fan favorites" tour or whatever If so I hope the setlist is way more engaging than the disappointing Time Machine Tour.
