70's and I consider Permanent Waves to be 70's. Either way I would choose it anyway.... :)

I edited the poll to include Permanent Waves in the seventies.

I think most people consider it that way but you could do a poll on that too if you want. Lets see how the rest of the evening goes.....

In that case, I vote for the seventies. :)

I changed my vote. I love the eighties up to a point, so I voted both.

I don't think "most" people consider it that way.

Maybe most of the older folks...

Permanent Waves was the beginning of the 1980's...what a great way to start a decade...New Years Day 1980.

No one even heard the entire record until 1980.

You forgot a few options like:

If Permanent Waves is considered a 70s album then I pick the 70s

And

If Permanent Waves is considered an 80s album then I pick the 80s

Or what about:

If Permanent Waves is an 80's album, I pick the 70's

or

If Permanent Waves is a 70's album, I pick the 80's

Yes, but I wouldn't choose that way.

Apart from everyone who worked on it, the record company execs & employees, the marketing people, family & friends, people who got bootleg copies etc etc.
