fraroc
Which era do you believe is better just by your own personal standpoint? Me, definitely 80s. And By 80s, I mean Permanent Waves to Hold Your Fire. Some of Rush's best songs came out of that era. BTW, MY 100th POST!!! Snyder80
Definitely the 80s. I can listen to, with great enjoyment, every single album from the 1980's, front to back, no skips, with the exception of Hold Your Fire and Presto. With those two albums I enjoy a majority of the material on HYF and a small amount on Presto. Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, Signals, Grace Under Pressure and Power Windows are all perfect albums in my opinion with the only skip coming from Red Lenses on GUP. Otherwise, it's sonic euphoria.

EagleMoon
80s most definitely. The 90s was kind of a decline into synth pop rock.

With barely any synth....how many synths are on Counterparts and Test for Echo? Wouldn't the 80's be more "synth" pop rock?
