I love the genre. The last good one I've seen is Sinister. Before that probably The Ring.I don't care much for B horror,or most of the chessy stuff that comes out.It has to have some intelligence,or a unique story line. But,I'm rambling.

I like every genre of film. Some of my favorite "horror" films include:

Rosemary's Baby

The Vanishing (1988)

The Tenant

Repulsion

The Shining

The Birds

Audition

Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht (1979 version)

Suspiria

The Thing

Evil Dead 2

An American Werewolf in London

Let the Right One In

The Fly

The Descent

Martyrs (very graphic and disturbing but very well done)

Vampyr

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (original and 1978 remake)

Funny Games (both versions)

Diabolique

Poltergeist

Night of the Hunter

Eraserhead

Jacob's Ladder

Dead Ringers

28 Days Later

Dead Calm

Candyman

Ichi the Killer

Night of the Living Dead

and

Young Frankenstein

Hmmm. There's a bunch of horror films I need to get caught up on.

I like classics like The Shining and IT.

The Evil Dead trilogy is great but found them more funny than scary. Didn't help that I was high most of the time I saw them.

I remember seeing a movie once about a Russian teacher who would murder little children and eat them if I remember correct. It was based on a real story but I can't remember the title.

Edit: I googled the story and found the source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrei_Chikatilo#Film. Bone-chilling reading I might add. The movie is titled Evilenko and is loosely based on Andrei Chikatilo. Creepy movie. Even more creepy if you have children I would imagine.

I don't like these films where a bunch of random people have been rounded up and are now locked in a cell and have to cut their own arms off in 96 seconds as water flows into contraption bolted to their head in order to escape into another room where their balls must be cut off by a woman with a broom stick in order for one of them to escape to another room where an ape has to cut it's own asshole out and pin it to the spleen of one of the others in order for the blonde sexy one to keep her left boob and eye... :eyeroll:

Freddy can ROCK! :haz:

I don't remember that particular scene - where was that?

It's from the TV show. It was an anthology series and Freddy was like the host.
