All I remember from geography and such is that you guys are below the equator, and so your seasons are the opposite of when ours are. Since we are just leaving spring, that means you're close to the end of fall, right? I have enough trouble staying upright in my kitchen, much less with two planks on my feet! It's not so dreary in all the states....Michigan is blessed with Fir and Pine trees, which are evergreens, and up in the northern 1/3 of the state it's quite beautiful in the winter! I skied ONCE in my life, my first wife skied, and she too me to a relatively close ski place, also now a concert place in the warmer months..Pine Knob...I've seen RUSH there in Sept. of '79... that was the LAST time I skied! I took her again but I stayed in the main waiting area and watched TV. She and her best friend skied a few hours... and yes, I can see why you wouldn't consider it! LOL I'm starting to fall every once in a while myself....all three times have been outside, in public, on concrete....no permanent scars, except for my ego, but you know.....Hope things are going as well as can be expected, IWCFW! My falling these days is complicated by not being able to get up unaided. My knees aren't strong enough and my shoulders are out of action so I have no option but to call an ambulance and have them haul me up. Also a blow to my ego even if inside my house. The idea of being stuck at this stage has got me shopping for wheelchairs. At least then I could go to the mall which I haven't in a year. Need a bit of arm strength first.
