Just wondering because I'm currently drooling over the device and can definitely not afford the $400 price tag on it :P.

It's the sound system Neil Young has been pushing for years, saying that is like listening to the master tapes of an artist. That's all it does is play FLAC files though?

Dang, don't I feel like a dork, lol. I'm cheap, so my walkman and CD's will have to do for now.

I don't know how well this thing will catch on. Neil Young is a miracle worker and genius, yes, but consumer electronics are a very different industry from the music one. Still, I admire the guy for obvious reasons and I hope he finds some success. :)

You just know that Neil Young's heard the Pono/Porno joke a million times already. He probably laughs about it, too.

Umm, I believe he's had lots of success over the years and the fact that he asked for the general public to pay for a new toy to be researched and built, and then pay again to buy it, insults our intelligence (at least those who understand what he did).

Oh sure, because I couldn't possibly understand any issue that doesn't involve partying, doing drugs, and trying to stay totally hot for my boyfriends. Oh, and I always use Daddy's money, too.
