Not familiar with these folks either but happy 10th nonetheless....
DonnaWanna and Kazz are well-known and respected members who don't come here, or post at least, that much anymore. But, Tom Sawyer is still going strong here. You might recognize him by his Clint Eastwood avatar. He's an old TRF friend who I'm glad still hangs out with us.

My bad. I didn't realize that was "thee" Tom Sawyer. I figured there are so many incarnations of Tom Sawyers that it couldn't be him but it makes sense now. He was first to use that name so there are no dashes or additions to his name. Just plain Tom Sawyer. I know of him well.

Thanks sullysue for the info.....
I'm a day late and a dollar short.
I started out pinkfloyd1973 a handle i created in 2000 or 2001 in honor of my favorite and most influential album in my life The Dark Side Of The Moon but in the structure I had seen so many handles online (name/year). At some point in the last several years I decided for Rush forums (specifically the best one) I should have a handle more appropriately honoring my Rush influence relevancy, specifically the song that "HOOKED" me back in 1981 while riding in a friends car. The song inspired me to go out and buy the 8-track ESL.
I was amazed (as was the administration here) to discover no one had yet taken possession of the user name Tom Sawyer ...
So I was granted a username change.
And I love this place... love the people (yep, even those I vehemently and regularly disagree with and, I love the banter, the laughs, and the scarce inconsistent intelligence. (j/k).
