IDEA—Ultimate R41 Setlist Contest!

I have an idea. We should post our ideal R41 setlists—and have them judged! We could get, say, 3-5 people on here to judge setlists based on categories like flow, potential crowd reaction, and use of catalog. Winner gets bragging rights. It'd be fun! DO NOT POST SETLISTS IN HERE—just tell me what you think and how we should go about this! Edited by Disk98

I'm ready to past judgement!

:smash:

Cool. We have a judge. Anyone know where we can find two more? I would judge, but I want to compete and be judged fairly. yyz211282 maybe? He's made some good ones.

I've made quite a few setlists here (not that anyone would notice) but I will not offer to judge because I have too many responsonsibilities in my real life to bother with something so trivial and petty.

Are you sure a small sample... glad to see what rush fans enjoy other than Rush. I am a prog fan mostly, but enjoy also Morricone, Williams, Hermann, Philip Glass and of course the Beatles. Make you realize that we don't have enough time to listen to all the good music.

Yes. Do you want me to post some 50 more artists? Or maybe I could just list 50 of my favorite movie and video game soundtracks.

It's ok enough for a couple of years, because i am just revisiting the ones of your list that i know and like and before i have the chance to listen to it again, you'll have time to have a third list... Just to take the time to listen to some classical song i would have to stop listening to prog music a while, because i am kind of slow with Beethoven for example. Classical music is so rich that he would take a month just to discover a symphony.

If it's a contest why not judge it against the actual set list that gets played? No subjective judging required.

It's just to see who can make the BEST setlist. Not the one closest to the REAL setlist.
