I went with Grace Under Pressure. To me Power Windows sounds too over produced specially with the keyboards.

:finbar: this is how I see it!

Distant Early Warnings = The Big Money

Afterimage > Grand Design

Red Sector A > Manhattan Project

The Enemy Within < Marathon

The Body Electric < Territories

Kid Gloves = Middletown Dreams

Red Lenses > Emotion Detector

Between the Wheels > Mystic Rhythms

So you see GUP wins out by two points. But I Love them both pretty much the same!

If you put it this way, they're equal. But if you look at my rankings P/G is #4 while PoW is #6, so I'm going by that.

Changed my vote, and I was surprised that I had voted for Power Windows. I guess that shows how well these albums match up. Right now, here's how I'd rank them track by track...

DEW > Big Money

Afterimage = Grand Designs

Red Sector A > Manhattan Project

Enemy Within > Marathon

Body Electric > Territories

Kid Gloves = Middletown Dreams

Red Lenses < Emotion Detector

Between the Wheels < Mystic Rhythms

GUP wins 6-4 in a split decision.

P/G has weak production and a couple of slightly shoddy tracks. PoW is consistently awesome, every track holding to the same high standard, and the production is miles ahead of GuP.

Of the five best songs from both albums, p/g has four

DEW, TEW, MP, RSA, Afterimage

p/g wins easily

I find this to be similar like comparing "Signals", and "Grace Under Pressure". Both c.ds, and albums shouldn't have to be.

Four of my top twenty Rush songs are on Power Windows (Manhattan Project, Marathon, Mystic Rhythms, Big Money). None are on Grace Under Pressure (Distant Early Warning comes closest). Easy call for me.
