What Rush mix CD would you make if you wanted to torture yourself?

Hand Over Fist
Neurotica
Tai Shan
Roll the Bones
Chain Lightning
Big Wheel
You Bet Your Life
The _______ of _______
Geddy's live "Rasta dude" verse of Working Man

There are others I would add, but I'm probably already going to catch hell because of some of the ones I've mentioned
Hemispheres
The Necromancer
In the End
Need Some Love
The Fountain of Lamneth

You're all gonna kill me now, right?
Is this a joke, or are you serious?
Uh, well…that depends.  How much trouble will I be in if I'm serious?
None at all.  I know a lot of people do not like The Fountain of Lamneth, but I don't know that many do not like Hemispheres.  Mick used to hate it, but then we tied him up and locked him in a closet  and gave him only lukewarm cream soda to drink and twinkies to eat and played it nonstop until he admitted it was a great song.
:o That doesn't sound like no trouble at all!
No trouble at all.  And, you are in luck on account of the fact that it is the festive season!  For you, we will throw in some candy canes as well.  :)

You know they've actually got Christmas Peeps now. Those would be a good addition to the conversion chamber...er...closet.

They have Peeps for every holiday now.  :)

You are right.  I think a couple of packages of Christmas Peeps will be much better than candy canes.  The thought of a diet of  twinkies, peeps and cream soda for more than one day is more than  I can bear.  His brainwashing session stay in the closet shouldn't be too long.  In no time, he will love Hemispheres.

I think we should all change our avatars to Peeps to commemorate Hemispheres. :)

I couldn't get Photobucket to load and my choices were limited.  Under the circumstances, this is the best I could do.

I couldn't even get the page to load so I could choose one.  So, I had to use a limited source.  I like the one I have now.  :)

Jeeez! This is a busy thread for one of their lesser songs.I remember when i first heard the song i loved Alex's dreamy guitar sound. He must have aquired one of those reverse reverb pedals which were quite new then. The same effect can be heard on the solo to Chain Lightning .I certainly don,t dislike the song and i remember i played it more than Stick It Out or Double Agent.Ilove Rush's 90s albums,it reminds me of a special time in my life.

I like it.  Not great, but its a nice, fairly mellow tune.  A friend of mine used a quote from the song in his wedding vows a few years back so it has some resonance there as well.
