As someone who likes S&A... you must be either kidding, hammered, or :smoke: :P

First, they played 9 of the 13 songs on the S&A tour, then brought out Faithless for TM.

What I would like to hear from S&A:

We Hold On (never played live)

TMMB (only S&A tour)

Armor And Sword (only S&A)

He's just looking for attention. He makes a million of these threads a day, though usually about individual songs that nobody wants to see.

Next he'll be asking about the entire Roll the Bones album being played.

Chill out, Zumbi. Just chill out.

I am listening to the Snakes & Arrows-album right now, and I say they play whole album on next tour, because its just a awesome album, much better then Clockwork Angels!

Who think the same?

Stop making stupid threads. That's what I think.

Who think the same?

Pointless would be the word I would use but yes there are to many of them for my taste as well.... :)

They played 9 songs from the album on the Snakes and Arrows tour.

I like the album—a lot—and when it came out I did a little Snoopy dance. But for sheer smokin' classic killer kick-ass Rush, Clockwork Angels is what I want to see them play live (again, I mean). Seven Cities of Gold and Headlong Flight are just over the moon. These guys are in their freakin' 60s. 60s!!!

These tunes rock harder than so many "magic-four-chord-formula" pop tunes that are out there (I'm thinking mostly of the band-that-shall-not-be-named, whose singer sings his heart out but sings some of the worst cheese going. But I don't want to get started...

Uh…no. Far Cry, Malignant Narcissism, Workin' Them Angels, that's it.

Uh...no. Far Cry, Mal-Nar, When the wind Blows and WE HOLD ON (for the first time live)

Regardless of how much I like S & A. I don't want to see the whole thing live. I would be happy with just about 3 songs. LOL

Far Cry

Mal-Nar

Bravest Face (Since they've never played it)

Yeah that should do it! All spread-out throughout the show.

I want Main Monkey Business, Way the Wind Blows, Armour and Sword and maybe Bravest Face as part of an acoustic set (please don't kill me), I like the album, but those are the ones I really want, and perhaps Spindrift? Edited by WavesandWindows

Snakes and Arrows.

Excellent musicianship. Some great songs.

A lot of beautifully constructed filler.

Nah.

Yeah no. In the case that all three of them have a simultaneous brain lesion and decide to do this, I'm sure that they will satisfy about 0.02% of the Rush community. My feelings about S&A can be summed up in this quote:

Snakes and Arrows.

Excellent musicianship. Some great songs.

A lot of beautifully constructed filler.

Nah.

I mean, Far Cry is great, though overplayed at Rush concerts. Armor and Sword is decent, but it has WAY too many verses. It should have been half the length that is was. After that, the only highlights are The Way The Wind Blows and the instrumentals, and even TWTWB has a few filler-ish qualities. And The Larger Bowl is one of the few Rush songs which I can probably fall asleep to, along with Rivendell and Limbo and a few other early-ish songs.
