Something For Nothing

In The End

If they were on the list, I would have picked In The End, Lessons and Something For Nothing in that order. Great songs that should but won't be played for obvious reasons..... :(

Something For Nothing is like the one song I would have loved to see live from the '70's that I haven't experienced. I've seen them play Xanadu and By-Tor.

2 outta 3 ain't bad.

They played them back to back to back in my first show (Hemispheres tour)..... :haz:

Let's see...

If they didn't play Losing It on the CA tour they never will. They had the perfect opportunity with the string section and didn't bite.

They've had Vapor Trail ready for several tours.. but choose not to play it.. so I'm guessing that's out as well.

Out of the rest of the list I would personally pick Available Light.. as long as they don't give it the Presto treatment and cut Alex's solo short.

i'd like to see Nocturne, Sweet Miracle, and Losing It. Time would be better spent playing things other than the songs on this list, IMO.

I'm the only one that wants to hear The Fountain of Lamneth? Gee, guys.

I'm up for it!

My guitar player and I discussed doing this although we will only do part of it. He loves No One At The Bridge and I love Bacchus Plateau.

I think Bacchus Plateau is in Geddy's range and would be perfect for this tour.

I feel like the "Crimson misty memories..." Part would be a challenge for Ged. But I trust your judgement since you're the singer for a tribute band. Would love to hear Bacchus Plateau!

Without Panacea, maybe! I love Bacchus Plateau, though.

 That's all right. I don't take it seriously and honestly think it is funny. We are all so different.

Having Xanadu in common makes up for any differences, anyway. And there are probably many more. What about Different Strings (the song, I mean, not our differences of opinion)?

I love Permanent Waves and I love that song.

Red Tide (No love for this song? Especially with the ripping solo!!!)

Cut To The Chase

Vapor Trail

Nocturne

We Hold On

This is all I ask for...

I like Red Tide. One of the few songs from Presto that I like. I'm not sure I'd like it live though.

The Big Wheel!

Would be a perfect pee break song.

And if it was followed by Roll the Bones, you could stay and have a push, too.

Why not make memories with Making Memories?

See? See what I did there? It's a play on words...we like to do that here.

Cut to the chase

Scars (if it hasn't been played, can't quite remember if it has) or chain lightning

Alien shore

Open secrets

Freeze (fear)

Peaceable kingdom

Fountain of Lamneth

In no particular order.

Scars was played on the Presto tour.

We Hold On

Not necessarily my favourite on this list, but definitely the one I'd most like to hear on the next tour.

Agreed. Alex' guitar work on that is not stellar, but has a distinct and fun groove. It would play very well live.
