The Clowney Show—Official 2014 NFL Draft Thread

Recommended Posts

So...today's the day.

Big questions will be answered:

Will the Texans take Clowney or trade the pick?

Where will Mr. Johnathon Paul Manziel go? Will he last till Dallas? Will Jerry Jones pick him?

Who will the Raiders pick?

Who will the Dolphins pick? (It better be an OL.)

Will Kiper's hair move during the 15 hours or so of coverage?

Will Mayock run out of cliches?

Will Gruden's head explode?

Can anyone put up with Berman for more than 10 minutes?

I saw Johnny football in Shoguns in Tyler last weekend (dead serious)

I didnt talk to him and saw him across the restaurant, but I could tell he definitely was hoping the Browns will draft him.

Apparently our GM is enamoured with Bridgewater (face palm)

I consider myself lucky, because I start work at 7pm tonight. :7up: :7up: I am FREE from the insanity.....

I know three things for sure about the Packers' 2014 Draft:

1. They will draft good football players.

2. Some players will make the team, and some will not.

3. Regardless of whom they draft, they will be dissed, mocked, and cursed by many armchair GM's, who obviously know better. :sarcastic:

What do you think about players picking their own walk up music?

Will thy change it based on the team that picks them?

How much scrutiny will the NFL put into these picks - any chance a "bad" song can get played?

I'd make a stipulation that they can pick their own music as long as it's METAL!! :blaze:

If you guys were drafted - what would be your walk-up song?

Limelight, One Little Victory maybe for me...

Or maybe just to shake people up a little... Afternoon Delight or Sunshine Lollipops And Rainbows

NEW YORK -- The Miami Dolphins have reportedly discussed a trade-down move in the first-round of the NFL draft with at least four clubs: the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers. And among the players they are interested in selecting later than their No. 19 overall pick is Tennessee offensive tackle Ja'Wuan James.

Discussions with the 49ers are trickier, according to the Miami Herald, because the Dolphins would prefer to stay ahead of the Carolina Panthers (No. 28), and San Francisco doesn't draft until No. 30. The Dolphins' interest in James was suggested by NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport a week ago, via Twitter, and with the Panthers in need of an offensive lineman themselves, Miami is apparently leery of trading back behind Carolina. Trading back with Philadelphia (No. 22), Cleveland (No. 26) or New Orleans (No. 27) could net the Dolphins James or perhaps Virginia offensive tackle Morgan Moses plus a pick later in the draft.

From the opposite perspective, the Browns moving up from No. 26 to No. 19 would skip them ahead of the Arizona Cardinals, who are considered one of the few threats to draft a first-round quarterback outside the draft's first 10 picks. If the quarterback-needy Browns pass on the position with the No. 4 overall choice, something Cleveland coach Mike Pettine has already hinted at, a move up to No. 19 could give Cleveland a clearer shot at the quarterback it wants.

Please don't let my satellite go out during the draft. Any other night during the spring and summer, OK, but not this one.
