24-15-1, this week, 54-50-1.

I guessed right on a few upsets, but got others woefully wrong, particularly the Nebraska, Marshall, Georgia, and East Carolina picks. Ugh.

Turn that tie into a win and you'd have broken even over 105 picks of a high percentage of all games. Very impressive.

yeah, you'll have to explain to me how the betting works. I've never played a "parlay" or any of that stuff.

Please keep in mind that most of this knowledge is coming from reading a book 40 years ago when I was 12. I don't think that my parents knew the betting stuff was in there, it was a "football dictionary".

Anyway, for what I know, parlays are the worst. You have to get four games right against the spread for a $10 payoff for each dollar bet. Assuming that you have a 50-50 chance of getting it right you have a 1 in 16 chance of winning. Your expected winnings are $.625 for every dollar spent. Conversely, to break even you have to have 56.3% chance of getting each game right.

For single game bets, you have to put down $110 for every $100 you win (you are up $100 for a win and down $110 for a loss. In this case, you have to be right about 53% of the time.

Then there are prop bets where you might bet $135 to win $100 or win $260 with a $100 bet depending on how likely you think something is to happen.

That's about all I know.

Free Shoes University QB Jameis Winston suspended for 1st half vs clem5on for shouting "f**k her right in the pussy," at a group of fellow students. Lol.

Winston is on the Lawrence Phillips' fast-track train to futility

Kansas State has flat shut down Auburn's offense, tonight, but Kansas State threw a pick in the end zone, fumbled in the red zone, and missed 3 FGs, including a 22 yard chip shot, that would have tied the game, letting Auburn off the hook.

I'm afraid Kansas State's defense will wear down, and Kansas State never got enough points to help them out.

What a shame!

Welp, the offense is moving the ball. But the defense has given up a 3rd and 17 on a pitch sweep and would have give up a 3rd and 25 if the receiver hadn't dropped the ball....

Georgia Tech takes advantage of noon start at Lane Stadium and beats the Hokies.

Florida scores 14 off of turnovers to make a great game @ Alabama.

Pirates once again proving they're a good team with 8 point lead vs. TAR holes.

Mizzou looking ahead to the Gamecocks and struggling with Indiana.

Up 35-20 at halftime, East Carolina beating up on another ACC team.

Perhaps ACC teams should stop scheduling games against them ;)

Hoosiers with 270 yards on offense and 17 pts in the first half after missing a TD on the final drive by millimeters. I still expect Missouri to cover but we can move the ball. Is the offense better than Vandy's, Dari Nokah (or however you spell it)?

I have to go to the theater with my wife and mother in law tonight. Half of me was hoping the game would be over before we had to leave. Now I have to wonder the whole night (and I have to go on a five hour trip tomorrow morning).

42-20, now. Pirates are easily the best team in North Carolina, and clearly we beat a very good team, 2 weeks ago, in a season saving victory.

Pirates had put 70 points and 750 yards of offense on the raggedy TAR Holes.

Mizzou has kicked a FG to go up by 3 on the Hoosiers, with 2:20 remaining. Indiana can win this if they can muster some offense.
