Boy did this thread derail fast. This is the only forum that I read that every thread seems to devolve into something sexual.
I'm glad you brought that up, and I am also glad that I am not the only one who has noticed that.  In fact, I was thinking of asking the owner of this place is we can have a section here for women that only the women members here can see.  In other words - no men allowed.

I thought the title "NEW WORLD WOMEN" would be a dead give-a-way...

In order for that to happen, then the admin would have to require people who register to claim their sex.  That's a can of worms no one wants to open...

It can be done because it was done on another forum.  If someone doesn't want to claim their sex, too bad; they lose out.  It is as simple as that.

We should ask the other women here what their opinion is about this.  We may find, RC and Eagle, that we are in the minority.

The problem is that a large percentage of the time when men start coming in to the conversations they can't be serious about the subjects. They start joking or making fun or basically dropping a thread down to it's basest form. Not everyone does this, and you Narpski are one of the few that don't do it as much. So my comment wasn't really directed at you specifically.

I happen to agree with you 100%.  I don't get involved in many of the threads for that very reason.  And if I am involved in a thread that starts to go that direction, I normally back away.

Yeah I mean it would be nice if we could be serious and talk about serious things. Like how cute Geddy's nephew is.

I am what some would call a gentleman dog. Since most males are dogs deep down there are just varying degrees of dogginess. I am cool with never coming in here again. I self impose banned myself from the chat room for 2 weeks because I felt I was getting nothing out of it. I can stay out of here forever if it would make you guys happy. I must warn you however you will miss my charm from time to time but.....

I'll just throw in my 2 cents, and only my opinion here... there are some threads on New World Women (recent examples 'The final Split' and 'Please, someone, I need help...') where the guys have contributed in a positive way.  So, stopping the guys from coming into this section of the forum would lose those contributions.   Secondly,  if there is a female only section (if that could somehow be set up), there should also be a male only section to keep it fair.  Some women might post more personal comments if they had the assurance it was girls only (and the guys likewise).  Currently, without changes to the forum, perhaps stating at the beginning of the new thread female comments only, or keep the posts to the topic only might help.

Well said as usual. I am going to stay out on my own anyway. Some of the posts earlier were pretty clear to me. No sweat. As long as I am a welcome contributor In the PGA Tour thread I will survive this. I welcome any of you ladies to call me out if you see me post in here again without welcome.... :)

But nothing has been decided.

Besides, I can tell already how this will go.  Business as usual.

I'll just continue as I have been doing.  Maybe Eagle and I can start an "over fifty only" section.  :LMAO:

Well please let me know when. I think I have shown how much I care for you guys over these months and would never do or say anything intentional anyway to hurt any of you in any way. I didn't start Bad Ass Ladies just for kicks. I mean and meant it. I truly have never come across ladies of such intelligence and brashness (if I may) all in one place in my life. I would love to know each and every one of you for real and not in any creepy way. Again thanks for the post Lorraine. Not feeling so well and you are helping get me though.... :rose:
