Blue J
Great piece in the Times today about The Tragically Hip. There's a very complimentary quote from Geddy in it. http://nytimes.com/2016/08/22/arts/music/tragically-hip-gord-downie-final-show.html

KenJennings
I'm always surprised to see how overlooked Black Mountain is. Their album "Wilderness Heart" is one of my all time favorite Rock albums. Nothing too complex, nothing overwhelming or mindblowing... but it's just really solid sincere rock and roll with a beautifully classic edge on it.
