Apart from Snakedrill, A Bell is a Cup, and a handful of other songs, the band material from the '80s doesn't really hold up well for me. Their solo stuff of that time, on the other hand, is fantastic. It's like the band paradigm handcuffed them. Hard to say I guess. At any rate, just glad they're in stride again.
