make sure to click the link to the actual RS link.  Alex says something like "he wants to play more rare songs".

We now have a whole, solid year of healthy bickering and speculating!

"We want to try and play different material this time," Lifeson says. "I've always wanted to do some rarer Rush material, and this should be a good opportunity to do that. I also think it's going to be a long tour. We just need to stay healthy until then."

Please, Geddy and Neil, for once listen to Alex.  If Alex made the setlist, I'd be happiest man alive.

Yeah, but Alex doesn't have to sing it.  (Which is a good thing ultimately.)

Yeah, but alex isn't going to pick to many crazy songs, for all we know he could be talking about newer unplayed songs. We know the obvious ones, the spirit of radio, and Tom Sawyer and limelight and 2112, the ones they always play. Where's are favorite setlist maker when you need him?? WHERE'S LOSINGIT2K???

Haha I can't wait to find out! It will probably be a few months before we find anything else out, all we know is there is a tour on the way!

A fan tour? Cool, maybe they will really cater to the fans and only play tracks recorded before 1982.

Taken together with Trunk's statement, we could get a couple new songs next spring, a tour, and a new album in 2016 with another tour.

I dunno.  Last couple of tours Alex's mic was actually live, and his backing vocals (when he chose to add them) were surprisingly, erm, good!  I don't think they'll ever allow him to sing lead, but he did sound as though he might have had a lesson or two.

Maybe the whole "we're taking a vacation" was just a ruse so we'd get all worked up. Of course if they read this forum at all the boring threads are probably part of the inspiration to get out on tour.

They've never been to my city.  Maybe they will this time.   We have a beautiful arena with ten thousand empty seats waiting to be filled in the event that they swing by me.

I drove 10 hours one way to go to one of the shows I attended for this last tour.  Never thought I'd drive that far just to go to a concert. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
