You must be ecstatic to see Santana Moss back in the burgundy and gold to remind you of the George Allen glory days.

Is Vontae Davis really worth $39 for 4?

I wonder how much of this is guaranteed. Probably not much.

Loomis made it happen!

Made what happen?

@Saints: The #Saints have agreed to terms with 3-time pro bowl safety @JairusByrd on a 6-year deal

Ah, just saw it on the ticker.

Good signing. Glad to see him out of the division.

Did they have to restructure Brees' contract? Are they giving up hope of signing Graham? Did they have any to begin with?

I dunno what they did, but he's getting the $9 million a year he wanted according to Mike Florio. As for Graham he's yet to file a grievance which might be a sign that they're working out a long term deal.

Happy so far with the Browns

TJ Ward is gone, but we did fine by signing Donte Whitner

Also we let Dqwell Jackson go, but signed Carlos Dansby. Both are really lateral moves, but good financial moves for sure

Do you know the round?

The 49ers are making some strange moves, trading for Gabbert and Martin?

Don't know the round. Guessing it's 6th or 7th though; either would be more than he's worth.

Probably glad to be rid of him just to take that whole circus away.

Revis to Browns???

Its obviously a ton of money, and probably not that smart financially, but Id rather see them drop 16mil on revis than sit on 30 mil in cap space!

Darrelle Revis released by Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Darrelle Revis' strange, short tenure with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is over. The team released the five-time Pro Bowl cornerback Wednesday, a Buccaneers source told NFL Media's Ian Rapoport on Wednesday. The Bucs later officially announced the move.

The decision puts a bow on a disastrous trade for the Buccaneers. Revis was dumped before the move got even worse.

If Revis remained on the roster after the 4 p.m. ET deadline today, the conditional 2014 fourth-round pick they traded to the New York Jets last year would have turned into a third-round pick in this year's draft. The Jets also received the No. 13 pick in last year's NFL draft for Revis. They selected Defensive Rookie of the Year Sheldon Richardson with that pick. Revis was set to make $16 million in 2014.

The Buccaneers already began to move on from Revis on Tuesday. The team locked up cornerback Alterraun Verner to a four-year, $26.5 million contract with $14 million in guarantees Tuesday. Revis also $16 million last year.

This move wasn't about Revis' play, but about his salary and the new Buccaneers regime. New general manager Jason Licht and coach Lovie Smith didn't care how many picks the Buccaneers gave up last year. They didn't want to pay him $6 million more than any other cornerback in the league.

Nearly 24 hours into free agency, we now have a new No. 1 overall free agent on the market. Let the bidding begin.

Lovie has named McCown his starter.

You can tell he's a defensive coach can't you?

And that Mike Glennon's his other option. I don't think Lovie will ever have a young team...he just seems to fall in love with older players.
