Mara
I love all the "classic" Pop Tart flavors - strawberry, blueberry, and cherry. Brown sugar & cinnamon is also good. Do not care for all of the funky trendy new flavors at all. Frosted, of course; I once bought a box of unfrosted by accident and had such a sinking feeling when I got home and realized the error. (Too bad Narpet wasn't around to take them off my hands). They are total calorie bombs and totally devoid of any real nutritional content - I'm sure the Food Nazis have them near the top of the Needs-To-Be-Banned list. But they are sooooooo good.

tx_rush
Brown sugar & cinnamon, warmed. Honestly, me least favorite. I see no love for the chocolate ones? For me, frosted cherry is #1

Narps
The frosted one's are just to much of a bad thing. I rarely ever eat a Pop Tart anymore but when I do, it's plain old strawberry or blueberry( would be my second choice). Lightly toasted with a smattering of butter spread on....... :)
Lieutenant Dan
LOL, great thread. Wasn't sure what to expect when I came in here; pictures of pastries or 1990's Britney Spears. I like them as an occasional quick breakfast or an occasional dessert at night, with a glass of cold milk. Mmmm. Another vote with Narpet: Strawberry, NEAT (no frosting!!!)
Babycat
http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/8372/7gc.gif So that's how they're made! :ebert:
Mara
I've often wondered why Kelloggs bothered with the unfrosted Pop-Tarts; I've never known anyone til now who preferred them to the frosting-y sprinkled goodness. Now I know there is a market of at least three people demanding naked tarts. ;)
Mara
One negative thing about Pop Tarts - it is hard to eat just one. They're packaged 2/foil pouch, so, no one wants to leave one in there to get stale. So unless you've got a housemate or significant other who will agree to eat the remaining tart - down the hatch it goes. Don't think for a minute that wasn't planned by the packaging folks. Narps
If I recall correctly the naked tarts were all that was available at one time back in the day. The frosted one's and all the crazy ass flavors came much later. Old School please..... :)
laughedatbytime
All are good but the frosted ones are the best. Especially cherry or blueberry. You probably can't get them in NY. F*** the food nazis....
