"Time and Motion" - although lately "Totem" has been popular in the shower. But yeah, "Time and Motion" is definitely the highlight of this album for me. It's heavy and it's got that cool hypnotic synthesizer loop riff. This should have been the CD's first song, then "Totem," and so on.

The sound on this album is some of their best, Hey guys I hope you work with Andy Wallace again

I liked T4E, but decided it was their corporate formulaic radio song..

I like driven.

But, time and motion, is what its about.

Today, I started listening to Test for Echo again after giving it a rest for a few months. I had gone back into my library and got back into the pre-80's stuff. But, since I've been listening to those albums since I was 13 or 14, I needed to hear the newer stuff. And, man, oh, man! The effect of going from listening to 2112 to T4E is POWERFUL! You get a real appreciation for how Rush has grown throughout their career. You get a sense of how their persepective of music has evolved, from a controlled but almost purposefully obscure sound with otherworldly lyrics, to a more sophisticated virtuosity accompanied by words that reflect a life lived. THIS is why I'm still listening to Rush.

What do you think is the best song from this album?

Definitely, Test For Echo has got to be the best song I have ever heard and when I saw Neil play it in his dvd, I liked it even more.

Virtuality. Don't care if you all think the lyrics is lame. That's not what it't about. It's about the music, and the guitar in that is flipping amazing. With that huge harmonics verse, and that really heavy riff, you got yourself one freaking powerful song right there. THATS what rush should be about.

Time And Motion

Limbo

Driven
