Far Cry:

"wandering madmen

f---king at strangers and speaking in tongues."

Seven Cities of Gold:

"A man can lose his past, in a country like this

Wondering anus

Parched and nameless"

However I figured out pretty quickly that I was mis-hearing it!

I always misheard the following lyrics from Presto. Everytime I think of these songs, this is what I hear...

Scars:

"Stop the pleasure, stop the pain

Atmospheric changes to be sensitive again"

Available Light:

I hear this with Subdivisons:

Spewing bile that's all very shitty

With thoughts lacking some order

An obvious disorder

Always instigating fights

By making us cringe and groan

Growing up is always avoided

Insults all provided

Insanity pre-decided

Always disassociated

Here in the The Rush Forum zone

He is always the screamer

With a mind that's already blown

(Spaghetti-Lee)

In the forum polls

Or the constant lols

Be banned or have a freak out

(Spaghetti-Lee)

In the brand new threads

Or the boring retreads

A fool or a real lout?

Any outlet might help him smooth

The unattractive truth

That his words feel like an impacted tooth

That belong in an empty phone booth

Just like a troll he draws all our pity

With spineless altercations

Posting for reactions

Spamming like a dumb ass guy

Just to feed us hate and spite

He will always give us misfires

And lace the board with crap

That gives us all a nap

Then he'll start to seek someplace

To repost his words so trite

Where he can use more verbosity

And admit he loves Available Light

A boy lies in the grass with one leg stuck between his teeth

This gets me everytime as well.

What song is this referring to?

In Ghost Rider, I always heard "From the lowest low to the highest high" as "From Buffalo to the highest sky". I thought it was probably a reference to Brutus being in a Buffalo jail at the time of Neil's transcontinental travels. Nope Edited by Union 5-3992

Hemispheres. "the gods of love and reason" I hear it just fine but when I sing it in my head I always want to say "the thoughts of love and reason"

..typing this, it just occurred to me that 'thoughts' actually ties in with the 'brain' metaphor in the song.. man this band is deep! lol
