USB Connector
It seems that with each semester I'm taking more and more math/theory oriented courses and fewer and fewer coding courses. As a result I need my laptop less and less for work but I still need the pdfs which are my textbooks, notes and assignments. I really don't like the idea of tablets because they're $200+ and for a bit more you get a decent working laptop. However, I see a lot of people on the train with ebook readers. Is there a similar device that's $150 or below that I can throw PDF files onto? The device must be capable of jumping to any page on a whim and having an equivalent of ctrl+f. Does anyone know of such a device?
Bluefunk
Many ebook readers support PDFs anyway. There's a table on this page:http://en.wikipedia...._e-book_formats
thesweetscience
Most tablets do too. My galaxy note does. Slick little device.

snowdogged
There are plenty that read PDF's but most of them don't do it very well. Here is a list of some of the best ones for pdf's.http://blog.the-ebook-reader.com/2013/04/30/pdf-showdown-ranking-the-best-and-worst-ebook-readers-for-pdf-reading/

Mr. Not
All I have to offer is: don't bother with Kindles unless you decide to get a paperwhite. It's well worth the few extra 100 (or maybe less?). I bought a regular Kindle for $80 or so, and it's practically useless to me, I only used it for one semester. USB Connector
Bottom line: laptop. Everything else is still an overpriced paperweight. Thanks everyone for your input.
Mr. Not
And by the way, always check TextBookNova first! :D
