I wasn't planning on reading it. But is was less than $6 on Kindle Prime.

Pretty interesting, in fact just to remind me of his persona I rewatched May 15th, 2012. Johnny Carson: King of Late Night pbs special on netflix (a 2hr homage).

The book is a real eye opener. Pretty interesting. I had no idea about some of these personal things about such a famous and private guy.

I am old enough to have watched throughout most of his career. He was at the least a fascinating man. From the documentaries I have seen he was very shy and insecure as well. I really enjoyed his show through the years.........

He was incredible with guests, as so many exclaimed, he could "make a star out of anyone he met on the show"

and "he made people look better than they ever were in real life".

Sounds like the definition of the qualities any great "leader" should have if you look at it from that perspective......
