Depends on the person,

I would be all over that! People need to eat what ever depending on there physical activities. I feel no guilt at all about what I eat. Just get off you a** and work it off. :D

It's my go to $6 pizza joint. Better bargain pizza than Dominos or LC.

I'm not from New York, though seeing as pizza as we know it was created and developed in New York and the surrounding area, I find your statement quite odd.

The reason Pizza Hut comes up with so many gimmick pizzas is the same reason the Houston Astros change uniforms so often.... the product sucks.

But, then again, Pizza Hut is part of Yum Brands... the same people who regularly use beans as an adhesive in their gimmick foods under the Taco Bell label.

As far as pizza goes.... everyone can knock whatever they want, but I rather enjoy the various styles at different times..... yes to deep dish from time to time... yes to New York style from time to time..... definitely yes to true thin (a staple of my St. Louis roots.... Imo's... thin crust and provel).  Pizza is not Italian.  It's a damned American Icon....

I think a lot of this could be avoided if we recognized that deep dish pizza isn't pizza.  If we just called them cheese-bowls or something, we wouldn't need to have these disagreements.

I can kind of see this point, but Chicago style was the next step in the evolution of pizza.  I guess NY style can be like homo erects and Chicago style the Homo sapiens of pizza.

If NY pizza is homo erectus, Chicago cheese bowls are homo flacidus.

Okay... I can't resist...

Who are all these homos talking about pizza?  We all know homos don't care about pie!

Why are these homos obsessed with the thickness of their pizza?

Who cares about the crust, it is obvious these homos only want one ingredient:  Sausage.

There are more, but I really need to stop here.

PS  This post is brought to you by 14 year old me.  I am actually much more progressive and thoughtful than this... just not on a Saturday night after baseball and beer.

Not only has Scalia ruled that deep dish pizza isn't pizza and is infinitely worse than real pizza, even people in the insane asylum known as Chicago seem to agree: only 9% of the orders in Chicago are for deep dish.  http://www.huffingto..._n_4801400.html

Thank God Scalia's brain cells aren't as dead as his taste buds.

And of course only 9% of orders in Chicago are for the good stuff.     Wonder what the percentage is when you take out the cheap shit like Papa John's, Domino's, Pizza Slut, and the worst of all, Little Caesar's?     Anyone can afford shit...you've got to pay for quality.

I can kind of see this point, but Chicago style was the next step in the evolution of pizza.  I guess NY style can be like homo erects and Chicago style the Homo sapiens of pizza.

So many tasteless jokes...... but I will pass..
Go ahead with your jokes, as long as NY style pizza is discussed here, there's no concern about your jokes being the most tasteless thing in the thread.

Those cheese bowls cost money?  I just assumed you were paid to inflict that bodily harm on yourself.

Pizza Hut pizza is an abomination.

Still better than deep dish.
Taking an opinion from someone from New York about pizza is like getting relationship advice from Counterparts.

I'm not from New York, though seeing as pizza as we know it was created and developed in New York and the surrounding area, I find your statement quite odd.
Created and developed in NY, maybe.   Perfected in Chicago, definitely.

I think a lot of this could be avoided if we recognized that deep dish pizza isn't pizza.  If we just called them cheese-bowls or something, we wouldn't need to have these disagreements.

Well, given your posts in this thread I guess it's not surprising that you're wrong about that too.
