EagleMoon
Song is probably my fav from the album. It just rocks. The remix really brought it to life.
tas7
Some later Rush songs do that annoying stop start thing but this just kicks ass all the way through.
The Analog Grownup
I never was that fond of that song, and it still is one of the weaker ones to me, but the new remix have given it a lot more airplay, so its value is going upwards. :)

lifeson90
Lol i actually did a sacreligious thing and deleted this track from my vt playlist, is ok but even the remix version hurts my ears. Album doesnt need it really still great.
tas7
Bought the remixed album today and this track is the one I thought, how have I missed this being a huge RUSH fan, did they ever play this live?

losingit2k
Bought the remixed album today and this track is the one I thought, how have I missed this being a huge RUSH fan, did they ever play this live? it really didn't deserve to be played live off the original release. It sounded very muddy and cluttered. The remix has really brought it justice and I hope they do play it live along with the rest of FEAR as stated in the post above. Mika
Love this song. Haven't heard the remixed version yet, but I've always had a lot of love for this weird, dissonant -in-an-awesome-way song. :)
tas7
Sort of goes into King Crimson territory, all angular then comes that unexpected melodic chorus.

New Digital Man
These songs would be very difficult to reproduce live as there were so many layers of guitars and bass put down on the recordings! They could do it i guess but it may sound very different which to some people might not be a bad thing!
Supersyl
It's always been one of my faves from VT... Never found that the original was bad sounding... It's MEANT to be crazy and wicked scratchy sounding like that!! :finbar:

Dscrapre
One of my favorite songs from VT and definitely a late-career highlight. This song gets such abuse by fans and I'll never know why. Edited October 21, 2013 by Dscrapre
jacob's ladder
This song is ridiculously hard. I was listening to this the other night :smoke: and could not believe how rockin it is. I am going to try to learn the drum part but it is going to be a very tall order. Edited October 26, 2013 by jacob's ladder
lifeson90
From a great album but my least fav on it. play most music loud on headphones these days and freeze like fingernails on a blackboard that way, kinda unbearable almost even, eventually became first rush track i ever removed from a playlist :) was hoping remixed version might be softer on ears but isnt. al's playing a bit too quirky for me too tbh. album doesnt suffer by its removal imo which speaks for itself. Just a personal opinion i can see the attraction for others, and i still have sentimental feelings for it going back to great days after album release. coventry
A beautiful song filled with surprises. Like how it starts off in 6, goes to an anxiety-ridden 5, segues into a flowing 5, then has that angelic chorus in 4. Like how this time sig progression mirrors the narrowing choices one has when it comes to facing fear. Like how the last 2 minutes are as tight and orchestral as anythingin the modern Rush era. Like how that last 30 seconds would be incredibly inspiring to see live. Oh, and I wish the remix had kept that ride in the mix as prominently as it was on the original.
