What's an ingrown hair?  Or do I not want to know?

Well... when you shave your face do you ever get those hairs that grow back under the skin and cause a bump and kind of have to be dug out?
No I use an electric!

Ugh has anybody in here tried an epilator? My best friend swears by them but I'd rather go wax.

I could imagine "shaving" some dudes beard with an epilator would be a terrific torture method. Ouch!

The reason ingrown hairs occur is because they are covered with cloth. The hair gets bend backwards and then goes back into the skin.

No I don't. But I don't shave my face either, I just let the hair grow wild.

I find exfoliating the area after and lots of moisturizer (I use oatmeal and shea butter daily) helps that not to happen. :)

Ya big tree, that is the absolute biggest reason I despised being hairless! The hair keeps shit from getting on your panties for SURE.
There's an app for that.

I've never done the wax thing.  I've also never had acrylic nails, and I've only had a professional mani/pedi once in my life (given to me for my birthday one year).  I also do not dye my hair.  I keep clean and well groomed, I do wear a small amount of make-up and I insist on dressing at least sort-of like I give a damn when I leave the house.  I'm just not much for the usual trappings of feminine preening.

But, I dislike having body hair below my waist.  It's not out of trying to satisfy a man in my life, it's out of comfort for myself.  I just can't stand it.  I understand what the men are saying about liking a woman to have a little hair down there because otherwise it's too prepubescent.  But, again, I do it for my own comfort and not for any other reason.

Oh, and my body hair grows fast so I have to shave pretty much every day to keep my sanity.  :P

Rush is going on tour this year. Do you know what that means for me? It means bikini waxing will resume in 2015.
