Lerxster
If they mentioned Victory Brewing Co., a place near and dear to my heart, then why didn't they mention Victory's V12. The name says it all. I mean, come on Mr. Expert Advise.
pjbear05
If you can find them on ebay or other sources, and have the spare $$$ to drop, I would go with the Utopias, which have consistently been the highest ABV brewed beers. An Imperial Stout made in England called Tactical Nuclear Penguin hit 32% ABV, but was done by lowering the temperature of the beer below 320 and separting the liquid from the ice. Unfortunately, in the US the BATF considers that practice distilling, and if a brewer does that without a distller's license-BUSTED! My personal highest was Piraat Golden Ale from Belgium at 10.5%-sort of like Duvel with an extra kick.
