Speaking of sigs, every time I see the towers in yours all I can think about is Catherine zeta jones practicing moving through the "lasers" in entrapment. Great movie.

Ah yes. That fun trip to Kuala Lumpur and the Petronas Towers mingles with mental images of Zeta Jones' supple and delicious body bending over.

Joined TRF in May 2011 after seeing Rush on the TMT 2010 in the USA.

For me, as a young boy from Germany, it's something special to be here on this fine board. Posting here helps me to improve my English but more important is, that I met some great people here. It's always big fun to check out some of the posts here and man there were some real hilarious ones. Thanks for the hard laughs girls and boys.

TRF is a good place, if not THE only place, to be as a fan.

I'm the only Rush fan I know in person. That could explain why they have never come to eastern Washington for a concert even though we have three superb venues at which they could have one.

 

And since I am a young senior citizen ( ;) ), Rush introduced me to themselves when they made their debut on NYC FM stations in the seventies. :rush: :ebert:

I had to leave this suddenly as my bf came home, and we had 'a talk' scheduled, which took forever to hash out. :( He's been a bit of a fatalistic jerk lately.

 

Anyway....

 

I love the subjects that get bandied about around here, as I was saying, ranging from love for a song (like 'Everyday Glory'!) to predicting Rush's future to sharing bad days to comparing different versions of songs to waxing poetic about Geddy's butt. I can be as much of a Rush geek as I like here, and no one bats an eyelash! I can expend all my Rush energy here, instead of boring my friends who are not nearly as enamored as I am.

 

There are some really cool people kicking around these threads that I am happy to have made acquaintance with. I love hearing others' opinions of Rush and of stuff that's not necessarily related to Rush. I think we are a great community here, and we have awesome admin leadership. We have people that are silly, people that are philosophical, people that are just off-the-wall, people that are funny, and people that are serious, not to mention people that support my indulgence in the appreciation of a certain band member! :P

 

Thanks, TRF, for being such an awesome place to come to to be myself among similar-minded people, or at least people that are bonded together in Rush.
