Revolver, followed by The White Album, Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper's, and Abbey Road.

But you can't go wrong with any of them.

Incidentally, duck, I asked Drew Brees which was his favorite, and he said while he was unfamiliar with the Beatles, One Direction puts out some great stuff.

Drew Brees needs an explanation...

(this is what Saints haters type in the comments section of every Drew Brees story on PFT - I don't know why it's supposed to be funny myself but I thought I'd give it a try  )

They saved the best for last with Abbey.

My problem with not ranking Abbey Road as high as others is the fact it has "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" AND "Octopus's Garden" on it. With all the great songs they had lying around they put those two songs on the same side of an album! One or the other, fine. But both???!!!??? Ringo could've easily sang "Maxwell's Silver Hammer".

Maxwell's Silver Hammer is an example of what John Lennon called Paul's Granny music.

 I like Paul's granny music (Honey Pie is another great example) Paul looked backwards, John looked forwards, George looked inwards, Ringo looked around. Their music during that period always sounds really drugged out to me. To me, everything after Tomorrow Never Knows has that similar quality.

Still, Abbey Road for me. Though it is all pretty close and I love all of their music - even Paul's granny song. Something, Oh Darling, Come Together, Octopus' Garden, all four sang their own song. And, I think side two remains peerless in their catalog as an album side.

There are too many songs I like spread out over their career to pick one album. I chose Past Masters volume two just for being the best choice available.

Trying to decide which Beatles album is better than another is like trying to decide which supermodel is hotter than another......it's and exercise in near futility. That said, I'll go with Abbey Road by the narrowest of margins over Revolver, Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Let It Be, A Hard Day's Night and Help! 1. Pepper's. (And no, it's NOT overrated).

2. Revolver

3. Abbey Road

Screw it, I have to see "With the Beatles" at least have one. It's the first album I can remember as a little kid that blew me away, thanks to my Mum. It was constantly on and loud. Also fed me the music bug that brought me here today. It needs a vote for that reason alone

The Beatles are one group that really lends itself to a compilation.

To several, actually! I love this 1 as well:
