Repeated Lyrics Game

Hi, I was listening to AFTK and I when I heard the lyrics "closer to the heart", it got me thinking. Since these lyrics are in the song 'closer to the heart' as well, I wonder if there are any other repeat-type lyrics in any other Rush songs.

Sorry if someone has made this "game" before.

I was listening to 'The Necromacner' later that night and when I heard "they bow defeated" it really reminded me of "bow in fear" in Beneath, Between, and Behind. I know it's not a match, but it's the closest I could get. rofl3.gif

Then there's Bastille Day...

See them bow their heads to die

As we would bow as they rode by

I noticed that last one too.

Not much of a repeated lyric but,
Red" is said a lot.

Yeah. I just thought of this. "Red" is never said in Red Sector A.

Signals. Both Digital Man and New World Man know that "constant change is here."

I don't have the next trivia question, but rather an observation that might work for this thread.

In the Permanent Waves part of Natural Science, the first two verses seem to each represent a different hemisphere. "Science, like nature" for the left, and "Art as expression" for the right. While the third verse celebrates the balance we've all come to appreciate from the previous album.

It's genius, I tell you! Pure genius! common001.gif

I'll do this in the form of a question. Two songs on the same album have the same four words in sequence, beginning with the letters c-c-i-h.

What album and which songs?

Is there two as I know of one that doesn't have those initials.

Or have you buggered up Pooch?

Digital Man

"'Cause for strangers and arrangers

Constant change is here to stay"

New World Man

"He's not concerned with yesterday,

he knows constant change is here today"

The prospect of me buggering up is, I concede, highly possible

But Rolinda???????

Never

I was thinking of the more obvious one:

A Farewell to Kings and Closer to the Heart both feature the four words:

CLOSER TO THE HEART.

But, of course, everyone knew that biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Which is probably why Clark's first post in this thread reads -
