Everyone LOVES pizza!

Recommended Posts

I do a lot of cooking, including breads and desserts. I make pizza from time to time and this one really is good. Pizza dough is pretty standard stuff, so it's not like I came with this "amazing original" recipe. But, it works...

Here's the link to my website - scroll down and you'l come to the pizza recipe. I included a recipe for the sauce too. I hope you try it...

Love the venison recipes (tricky meat to cook) and the fish batter recipe.

I'll pass on the deer ideas (edit: meaning I'll share them! ). Lots of Bambi-killer friends around these parts. :pizza: :hi:

Boy, do I ever love :pizza: ! Pepperoni, in fact!

How I love it as well. IMO, the best pizza is Pizza King, but of course, they're only in Indiana :rage:

Pizza is one of those wonderful dishes that just about everyone loves. The only thing people have a strong opinion about is the crust. A few misguided poor souls love deep-dish. :P

I prefer to let the toppings be the main focus. The crust is just there to hold my toppings together. And I will eat pretty much anything and everything that can go on a pizza.

Tomato stuffed crust?????????? I've heard of cheese stuffed crust...

The best pizza ever is a good old spicy double pepperoni with spicy Italian sausage and bacon. Oh, and extra sauce. And, a defibrilator.

Tomato stuffed crust, eh? I'll have to try it sometime. Sounds tasty.

Of course, this thread reminded me of this abomination. What the hell were they thinking, ruining our pizza like that?!

Whoa. . .you were on the Food Network, Thunder Bay Rush?

Too completely wickedly cool!

I have bookmarked your site. I'm not a venison fan, but you've got lots of great recipes there.

I did a show with Bobby Flay back in 2010... down in Hollywood. My first there and I felt a little bit "out of place," considering where i live up here in Canada. I never saw so fake boobs in my goddam life! We're shooting a new series in my home kitchen... started shooting before Christmas... will wrap up in early Feb. Hopefully, the Food Network will grab it. If not, there are tons of other large netwrosk that would play this type of show. (Keep your fingers crossed for me....) Wink...

Okay, here's a gross pizza for you guys straight from Japan:

http://englishbloopers.com/Blog/Photoblogs/2007/January/mayo_pizza.jpg

I tried to find a pizza pic with a fried or boiled egg in the center but this was unedible enough looking...corn, limp/half-cooked bacon (somewhat common here), etc. with mayo on top. I've tried these kinds of pizzas more than a few times even though I despise eggs but I just can't finish even a slice....waaaaay too greasy and stinky! And yes, that's 2400 yen (or very close to 30 bones) for a medium.

Every time I'm stateside I eat pizza at least 2-3 times. New York, Chicago, whatever-style...all good! Just hold the egg, mayo, corn, and funk please. Arigato.

Yes, I miss the food, but I don't miss living there....

Only in Japan, I suppose. With all the weird food that they have over there (I'm looking at you, Salty Watermelon Pepsi), this is hardly unexpected.

I've heard about Chicago's deep dish pizza for years but I haven't yet tried it. It's on my list... I like BIG juicy pizza with a thick crust, lots of sauce, meat and lots of grease! Dripping down to your elbows...

I tend to favor flat crust over thick crust. I think the only chicago style I've had is from Pizzaria Uno. it's good, but very heavy.

Recently, I've been favoring home made pizza over restaurants, although I love those too, but the homemade pizzas done on Boboli crusts aren't so heavy on the system.

And I love extra sauce on my pizzas. Although it can be a bit messy! But so GOOOD!!!!
