Marathon, they are all great, but that corus in Marathon just hits my soul.  Especially at the end, with that key change in that climax.  I also like the bass line, the synth part during the solo, and that little spiral downward with the bells after the solo, smart ass music, but so simple.  Only Rush.  I have got it on right now and am floating above the computer in a musical extacy. 1022.gif  2.gif  new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

I turn my power windows cd off once mystic rhythms comes on. I pretty much considering Emotion Detector the last song on the album. Mystic Rhythms puts me to sleep. Not in a good way.

You know, I have never even liked The Big Money.

I  heart.gif Territories and Middletown Dreams, because two really powerful quotes come out of each of them:

"They shoot without shame in the name of a piece of dirt -- for a change of accent, or the colour of your shirt"
"Better the pride that resides as a citizen of the world than the pride that divides when a colourful rag is unfurled."
-- Territories

"It's understood by every single person who'd be elsewhere if they could. . ."
"Dreams transport desires, drive you when you're down."
-- Middletown Dreams

I also liked Marathon. "Something always fires the light that gets in your eyes!"

Weeeee.

Curves and Lines... Grand Designs.

I used to have Chronicles, and my friend Toby used to always think Geddy was saying:

"We've got another song from PURPLE Windows: It's called Mystic... Rhythms..." applaudit.gif
