KenJennings
It's called pop eh.. We always called it pop, too. Pretty sure it's a Canadian thing http://discovermagazine.com/~/media/Images/Web%20exclusives/2013/June/language%20maps/soda-pop.png
Thebuckeye2112
My preferred soft drink of choice is probably Vernors probably because it is sold a lot in my native Ohio. I always say it pairs surprisingly well with pierogis, unlike most variations on ginger ale which are usually dry, Vernors is sweet. I just wish I could find a 12 pack of Vernors in North Carolina, the closest supermarket near me only sells a six pack. As for other soft drinks I really appreciate Jarritos their Tamarind is bottled ambrosia, pairs nicely with any form of Mexican chow. (Especially tamales)

invisible airwave
I rarely drink it but I usually drink the indie brands with cane sugar and stevia. Jones is awesome. Bubblegum and orange cream are their best flavors. NY Seltzer is a classic from my childhood as well.
